Nursing program

I'm getting ready for the first day of the rest of my life. I'm heading off to an all day meeting before I enter the clinicals of a RN. Am I excited? No not really I think this part is the silly part. But here we go.....

Almost forgot to share the night before the crim my kids and my Dad went out for pizza and we had a crazy fun time. As the pictures show:

TRICK or TREAT......early......

I had to work but my lovely husband took our children out to their GG's house (where she stays for the summer) to trick or treat. Yeah, yeah it's early but for the elderly that leave to go back to Fl. this gives them the fun they are going to miss come the actual holiday!!!! GG....this is my Grandmother, my moms mother, and GG is for Great Grandmother. She just turned 80 this year bless her heart. She still gets around on her own, such a sweet lady with tons of energy and still going strong. I made her birthday cake for her I think it was the best I ever made, some beg to differ. August 29 2010 The day after......

I ran the crim road race yesterday and I really am sore this morning. It was an awesome day, not a down moment and I am paying for it now. I decided that because it was my Dads last crim (for a while)I would enjoy the run with him. I wasn't out to break any records and of course I wasn't going to win. We or should I say he had a goal to make it in before 2 hours, and we did, with 4 minutes to spare. Yay for us!!! Than I came back and went for the 5k(3.1 miles) walk with my friend that is wanting to get into run/walking. After all that we did and was done before noon we had to go to work. Yes I was exhausted!!!!

Went and picked up my number and packet for the crim!!(coolest race in Michigan) Went back home for a little bit and went back up to the expo and hung out with my Dad. We went and had pizza tonight. I am going to enjoy my race running with my Dad. I'm pretty sue it's his last one . I remember he ran with me at my first marathon, to repay him I will be his shadow tomorrow to help him get to the finish line. What an exciting day!!!!

getting closer to fall......

The morning weather is getting much colder and much more brisk. I'm starting to smell fall in the air. I can smell the hint of apple pie, pumkin candles, fresh pine and feeling the warmth of the stove on when we do our baking. Yesterday I went to pick up my beautiful daughter from my Grandmothers house and she took us out to subway.......a sandwich place???? We ordered pizza:

This morning my greatful mother came out ans helped me can tomatoes out of my graden. I have never done it before and I found it to be pretty easy. Looks like I found something to do do save money. When the kids get back to school I'm going to get with my cousin and make some jam.

My little guy sick!!!:(

Been a long time since I last posted, tons have happened. I start school for RN in September, I really don't want summer to end. I love being at home with my children however they won't stop growing no matter how much I ask them to stop. I am saddened. Since the last time I posted Brianna had to get 4 stitches in her knee, she fell off her bike after hitting a rock gashed it open pretty good. I was running and Jim called my Dads cell phone I had to run through yards and across streets just to get back to the car. It was kinda like t.v. LOL Now just recently Trevor got bit by a dog on his wrist. It put a pretty good size hole in his wrist and he had to spend 4 days in the hospital on iv antibiotics. That in itself was a whole new experience. I stayed the night with him and got very little sleep.
